Introduction

Osaki Station area became a subcenter (fukutoshin) of Tokyo in 1982.
As the redevelopment of Osaki New City and Gate City Osaki progressed, the cityscape of the subcenter extended to the Higashigotanda and Osaki Station West Exit areas.

Cultural Property Description

Osaki was a factory town until the 1970's. As redevelopment work progressed, it developed into the business district you know today.
