Irugi Shrine & Irukibashi Shell Mounds

Introduction
The shrine is a guardian of Osaki and moved to this area to avoid flood damage from the Meguro river in the early Edo period. The Irukibashi ruins (shell mounds) are from before the Jomon period, and now there are houses built on top.
